on this website (hereinafter referred to as the “offering”).
The legal bases for the data protection can be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). The EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) is also considered.
Never before was it so important to consider the protection of our clients’ and employees’ privacy and their personal data. In a world which is becoming ever more digitalised, there are countless interfaces with data and data protection. The EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in its latest version impose obligations on us in this context, with which we naturally comply in order to ensure that maximum data protection is guaranteed. The same also applies to visits to our website, where the above-mentioned requirements are also implemented.
When a user contacts the provider (for example via e-mail), the data provided are stored for the purpose of processing the query and in case follow-up questions prove necessary.
4. Data protection in accordance with the EU GDPR
As the protection of privacy and personal data is a very important matter to us, as demonstrated by current regulations and laws, we are fulfilling our obligation to process personal data only with the users’ knowledge and consent. Users are informed of what information we may store and the purposes for which it is processed.
5. Your personal data
This includes the use of your personal data to process the tasks and contents contractually assigned to us, to respond to your contact request or to give you the opportunity to receive specific information or data.
6. Your application documents
Insofar as you submit an application to us, the transfer of personal data from the applicant to BPR occurs automatically in paper or electronic (in the case of applications via e-mail) form. In the case of any paper or electronic (specified e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org) documents received, we ensure that only those individuals responsible for processing the submitted documents are provided with access.
Should you become employed here, said documents will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. Should your application not be successful, the corresponding documents will be deleted automatically in accordance with the applicable regulations following notification that the application was unsuccessful. Insofar as we are obligated to do so, the period of data destruction will be extended according to compelling necessity.
7. Measures / deletion
The data received from you and made accessible to us are protected by technical and organisational measures in accordance with the regulations. The protection encompasses the avoidance of accidental or intentional manipulation, loss of data, destruction of data and unauthorised persons gaining access to data.
Personal data are only stored for the period of time strictly required for the intended purpose. Once the intended purpose is no longer applicable, the personal data will be deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
8. Embedding of third-party services and contents
Third-party contents such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds and graphics from other websites may be embedded within this online offering. To this end, the providers of said contents (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) require the users’ IP addresses, as they would be unable to send the contents to the browser of the respective user without the IP address. The IP address is thus necessary for the display of these contents. We make every effort only to use contents where the respective provider utilises the IP address solely for the provision of such contents. However, we have no influence over whether third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. Where we are aware of this, users are informed accordingly.
9. Withdrawal, changes, rectifications and updates
The user has the right to receive information about the personal data stored concerning them upon request and free of charge. In addition, the user also has the right to rectification of incorrect data, the right to restrict the processing of personal data and the right to be forgotten, provided legal obligations to store data would not prevent such action.
